Minibus Committee

'Like to get involved'

The Association is managed by five local committee members who meet six to eight times a year plus an AGM. Meetings last up to an hour and the day-to-day operation of the minibus venture - ably assisted by Galanos House and Southam Library - is kept on track.

The current committee members have been in post for most (or all!) of those thirty years so the time to pass the ownership of the vehicle to a new generation is approaching. Five or six young/middle-aged individuals (ideally though not necessarily from Member organisations of the Association) are needed to oversee the running of the minibus. The current committee are not about to depart but a transition over the next few years seems sensible. As is normal for such an organisation the group appoints a chairman, a secretary, a treasurer, and committee members.

Community-minded individuals who would like to be involved with the running of Southam Community Minibus are invited to get in touch by clicking on 'Contact' in menu bar at the top of the page.
